Host Brookfield trailed by seven points to begin the fourth quarter and battled back to tie the score at 44-44 before visiting Weston closed things out on a 9-0 run for a 53-44 victory in boys' basketball action on January 24.
John Jones led Weston with 19 points, Alex Olsen had 11, Evan Levine scored seven, Josh Handel and Michael Stack both dropped in five, Dan Bello had four and Nathan Luchetta added two.
The Bobcats got 14 from Harry Albanese, 10 from Zak Droukas, eight each from Steven Cioffi and Andrew Dilascio and two apiece from Jayden Carl and Connor Walls.
Brookfield went on a 6-0 run in the mid to late stages of the fourth quarter, capped by a Cioffi drive to the basked to even the score with 2:38 left. It was all Weston from there. Levine broke the tie with a pair of foul shots with 2:18 to go and later drained a key 3-pointer to make it a five-point lead.
