Panthers Win Eighth Straight Championship

Pomperaug's boys' swimming and diving team continued its dominance atop the conference with its eighth consecutive SWC championship, at Masuk High on March 6.

The Panthers scored 513 points to earn the title. The other Panthers, Masuk, had a tremendous showing with 434 points for second place (check back for more coverage of Masuk and the other SWC teams).

Pomperaug had a pair of first-place finishes and used their depth to pile up the points with numerous other high placements.

The 200 yard freestyle relay team of Aiden Hampton, Sai Quesenberry, Connor Nee and Timothy Regan was first in 1:31.61.

In the 400 relay, Pomperaug earned first as the team of KC Green, Quesenberry, Regan and Drew Rosenhein came in with a time of 3:20.09.
