Host New Milford and Pomperaug both scored 140.040 points for a first-place tie in the SWC gymnastics championships on February 13.
Newtown was third with 139.900, Joel Barlow fourth with 132.700, Oxford came in fifth with 130.650 and Nonnewaug was sixth with 130.300. Bethel also had individual representation in the competition.
In the all around, Pomperaug's Sara Myrvold was first with a score of 37.150 and earned MVP honors. New Milford's Hailey Best was second with a 36.800. Newtown's Hannah Jojo and Marisa Choi were third and fourth with scores of 35.850 and 35.350. Pomperaug's Alaina Karp came in fifth with 34.950.
Myrvold was first on the balance beam with a 9.200 and vault with a 9.600. Best came in first on bars and floor, scoring a 9.450 in both events.
