New Milford's gymnastics team came in fifth at the Pomperaug Invitational on January 11. The Green Wave scored 124.300 points. Fairfield Warde won the competition with 134.450.
Riley Herring was 11th in the all around with a score of 32.2. Lexi Donnelly was 23rd in the all around with a 29.15. Emmaline Moore was 26th with a 28.8. Hannah Trowbridge came in 30th with a score of 27.650.
Herring tied for 11th on the vault with a score of 8.4, and Donnelly tied for 16th with an 8.1.
On the balance beam, Herring tied for fifth with an 8.4. Thea Spinner tied for 13th with a score of 7.9. Claire Joffrion tied for 18th with a 7.4.
Hailey Best tied for eighth on the floor with an 8.2. Donnelly tied for 10th for her floor exercise effort of 7.9. Trowbridge was 12th with a 7.7. Moore tied for 14th with a 7.5.
Best was third on the bars with a score of 8.7. Herring tied for 10th with an 8. Jillian Melendez tied for 22nd with a 6.6.
