Howland And Holland Each Score Two In ND Hockey Win, Rowland's 100th

Leigha Howland and Justina Holland both scored twice in leading the Notre Dame-led girls' hockey team to a 6-2 triumph over visiting Guilford, at the Rinks at Shelton, on January 3. It was Coach Kerri Rowland's 100th win.


Mackenzie Broderick and Rose Linkasamy also lit the lamp. Jenna Johnson assisted a trio of goals, Alexis Burwell had two assists and Amanda Regina had one assist.


Goaltender Bethany Karp was between the pipes for the Lancers.


Notre Dame got goals from Howland, Charlotte Dworski and Sarah Casey in a 9-3 loss to Amity in the previous game.


The Notre Dame team represents a trio of SWC schools, including Pomperug and Weston, along with non-conference schools Foran and Law of Milford.
